Climate Adaptation Game

01:00 PM-02:00 PM
11-14-2024

The Climate Adaptation Game provides a hands-on opportunity for youth and climate activists from the MENA region at COP29 to engage with the climate challenges and find adaptive solutions. The Game offers young people and climate activists from the MENA region a thrilling chance to discuss the urgent problems brought on by climate change and consider adaptable solutions. This interactive game is especially pertinent given the region's susceptibility to extreme weather events, including heatwaves, droughts, and flooding. It gives players the ability to pretend to be urban planners entrusted with strengthening cities' resistance to these climate-related effects. Through the game, activists and young people will learn about the ways that climate change impacts the MENA in particular, from rising heat to water scarcity, and work together to develop workable solutions to deal with these problems. Their comprehension of intricate geographical circumstances is improved, their analytical abilities are strengthened, and creative problem-solving is encouraged by this practical experience.
