UK Universities Azerbaijan Alumni Scotland Beyond Net Zero Group

Scotland Beyond Net Zero is a coalition between Scotland’s universities, aimed at catalysing research and innovation to support Scotland’s net zero goals. Work with industry, government and civil society across six priority research themes – built environment, energy, food, finance, natural systems and transport. This session will include a panel as well as proposal for catering networking. Panel will include University of Edinburgh/Learning for Sustainability Scotland and British Council to showcase professional development opportunities for a global audience including the Live at COP MOOC as well as 3- 4 speakers including representatives from the Scotland Beyond Net Zero group. This will showcase the collective commitment from Scotland on the sustainability/climate agenda and the research impact in this space from Scottish institutions. The project also includes the twinning of 20 schools across the UK, UAE and Azerbaijan in early 2025 to extend reach and impact.
